Any news on a 2009 YarisWorld calendar?
Is there gonna be another one made? if so, I'd like to buy it. Maybe there could be different options like, the LB calendar, the Sedan calendar, then an option for both. Just an idea, anyways let me know!

Well, a LOT of stuff for the calendar was lost in the hack, and it is a HUGE project for someone to take on themselves. I did it last year, and I think my net profit was like $5.00, and if it wasn't for Garm purchasing a third of them I would have lost something like $600 on the whole deal. I have also changed jobs and no longer have cheap access to getting a month style calendar made. Also, the cost is pretty big, it was something like $1,200 for 150 calendars, and in reality I only sold about 50 last year, Garm bought 50, and I had 50 leftover which I gave out to a few members and friends, and dealerships & vendors in hopes of getting some more sponsors this year.
Guess how many sponsors I have for '09? 0. So yeah, probably not going to happen. However, I might be able to do a year calendar with the top 12 rides in a poster form. This would allow a sponsor to be seen all year instead of one month. I have no idea on cost though, as it also depends on how many people are interested. If your really serious about a calendar, start an interest thread for a poster format. I will then start up the voting and pray there are some sponsors. |

Interest in a YarisWorld Calendar
If you had the option of getting a YarisWorld calendar would you be interested in purchasing it? If not, please vote anyways. Trying to gauge the interest level.
Thanks |

I'm interested!!!
Sadly, this is yet another example of demand and support not existing in the real world. If more members bought a calender, there would be one every year. |

Good Idea, kinda more like the GB setup, where you tell who all are interested; make a list and then publish and distribute. That way no one bears the massive burden

Only if was a one page 12month poster type, I'm too lazy to flip a calendar every month.

If we get 25 interested it would be worth my time. I'll start up the voting here today for the choices, then approach sponsors again.

Start another Oil Thread!

a cheap alternative is to offer the calendar in .pdf form.. no printing costs and no shipping costs (just a download fee or donation via paypal) and it's up to each buyer to print the calendar at their local Kinko's
