front seat room
I was wondering how does the front seat feel in a Yaris I am about 6'0 and 280 solid. i fit just fine in the xb and i sat in a matrix and that felt fine too. I am thinking about getting the Yaris Sedan S. I know what some people are thinking big guy small car ha ha.But the bottom line is this is about what I can afford especially on a teachers salary. For my Canadian friends how does the front seat feel for the big guys out there. Thanks Derrick

Well I am 5'10" and about 200 lbs. I have plenty of room. I have also had my neighbor in there at about 400 lbs. It was a bit squishy but doable.
Since you are somewhere in between on the lower end - I would suspect you will be okay. Every persons idea of room is however different and I would highly recommend sitting in one and trying it out. Some of us like being squished in and feel that it is the perfect amount of room. S |

I am 6'-0" and 290 lbs. I fit fine in my 2012 5dr. I am going to do this mod though. I was actually missing my Altima power seats because I was able to lower the back and raise the front. Thanks for the idea....I'm sure it will be great.

If you're wide through the hips, the console arm rest can be a problem. Other than that, it's more a question of limb proportion: at 6'/300 lbs, 46" waist and 32" inseam, I find it to be plenty roomy and comfortable. If I wear shoes/boots with thick soles, getting my legs under the steering wheel can be a tight squeeze but once in the car, I find tilting the wheel down feels better on my arms for long trips.
