I like these wheels, but should I reconsider?

Hi All, New Yaris guy here (2007 3dr liftback-base). Been lurking and reading for about 5 months now and this is my first post.

I found a set of wheels: 15x8 +25ET that I really like, however I'm not sure they will work because of the width and offset combo. I have TRD shocks/struts and am on Tien STech springs. So I am lowered ~2".

From what I have been reading, most on here recommend a +35ET or higher, so I want to know if this setup will work without spacers, etc. as well as the ever so popular question "will it rub?". Additionally, if this setup would work, what would be the recommended tire size?

I've stretched tires before, however I'd like to stay away from that as well as any camber tinkering. If this is a lost cause, I'd like to know before I get my heart set on these wheels (JNC043)

Thanks in advance!

Stay away. The rub would be astronomical. Even a 15x7 with a +25 offset would cause issues.

JNCs are cheap junk replica wheels. I'd avoid them.

Thanks all! I think I’m going to go with the Scion iQ wheels.

I prefer 33″ 33″ represents the outside diameter of the tire; using the 16″ rim 33″ in the tire code is the outside diameter; it is also 838.2mm. 285mm is the tread width; in a 285/75 R16 tire, the sidewall height is 75% of that width. Adding the two sidewall heights and the 16″ rim diameter, we get the outside diameter, you can learn more in this article https://automobible.com/33-inch-vs-285-mm/, The biggest difference is the tread width, but is only 2.6%. Given the typical manufacturing differences, we can safely ignore them and assume that these tire models are equivalent, if you're interested in learning more about tires and wheels
