I did the same thing last weekend ! Took off all of my wheels, cleaned my wheel wells, rear springs, shocks, sway bar, etc... but damn if it didn't rain two days later !! Now I'm as dirty and water spotted as ever !

Scissors jacks....yea me too. It was blocked off up front.
TRD shocks.....you bet. Much firmer ride when coupled with the springs. Rain....I try and avoid. But with everything waxed, cleanup is a breeze. Thanks for looking....It was just something to do while I waited for the drums to come back from the coater which they did and are now back on. |

Dude, no jackstands?
I'm terrified and I don't know why, by just staring at these pictures.

Nice shocks...On another note, that looks just like something I would have to do...Changing an oil filter with only one of those jacks propped up on a 2x4 holding up the Yaris! SCARY!

After reading the comments regarding "Jackstands" or lack thereof, I will go on record to advise that should you elect to do any work under your car requiring the removal of wheels, "Use a better support method than what is pictured here".
That being said, I usually use what is pictured along with jack stands as a safety. Just didn't do it this time. Again, thanks for looking and the comments. |

Yes....and no I don't go under the car when I use them. Header and Mid-pipe are next and for those I have a set of ramps.
Thanks Malaya....it's your mid-pipe. |
