Fuel filter or Fuel pump :( - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi,

My car (Toyota Vitz 2007) hesitates for a few seconds like its choking or struggling to stay running, after I start it in the mornings or in the late evenings when the car has been parked for a long time say about 7-8 hours. It then runs normal but the mileage also sucks.

Could it be the fuel filter that needs replacement. I dont want to spend mega bucks and go for the fuel pump right away at this moment.

What do you guys suggest?

Air filter dirty, Leaky fuel injectors, air fuel sensor starting to go? Spark plugs fouled? What's the milage on your car?

Replaced air filter, spark plugs, cleaned throttle body already.

Mileage is bad. Say about 9-10 km/litre :s

Whats the air fuel sensor? How can it be the air fuel sensor as there is no Check engine (maintenance light) coming on.
