Engine oil should have been replaced three times at least. With filter of course.
Same with brake fluid.
Inspect brake pads. There may be still some life in them based on where you drive.
Change engine filter and cabin filter. Have your AC checked and cleaned.
If there is no particular problem then there is no need to do anything more.

I'm afraid I wasn't clear enough. the car was serviced last time when it reached 30000km's. as far as I know, it has to be serviced again at 45000km's, and that was my question - what has to be done (beside changing the engine oil, of course).

nothing to be done as you stated you did 30000km maintenance.

although i noticed in middle east Toyota service centers they changed the spark plugs at every 20000km unlike what the manual says. maybe because we run at average of 120kph or more all the time., brake pads need to be checked front and rear.

at 40000km i changed my manual trans fluid with Toyota genuine trans fluid... but if you have automatic transmission then it is not needed at the moment.

basic oil change/ filter is enough. you may blow dust away from the cabin Filter if it has not been previously done.

RF - thanx for your detailed reply. I've asked a Toyota dealer and I was told that I have to change the engine oil along with the engine oil filter. according to them - it have to be done at 15000km's interval. I assume that it's reasonable.

The dealer is not the best place to ask "what work should I do to my car". Ha ha.

Do you have an owners manual with scheduled maintenance guide? That is the best source of that info.

Your engine 2nz-fe is not in the scheme, but there isnt much difference to the other petrol engines.
