Sure is!
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...interior+parts its not so much a coat as it is....boiling parts. coloration depends on how long you dye them! what to sticker bomb next.......thinking the rear center upper seatbelt mount. it would be obnoxious. I like obnoxious. |

yay, 4th coat of mod podge is drying.
Also, in case anyone is wondering about removing stuff like this later on in life, it is very simple. the mod podge actually makes removing the stickers easier, since it strengthens the paper. it wont rip leaving the stick and half the paper down. it comes off with that satisying *pop* sound that happens when it all comes off clean :) I'm wondering about either dying or replacing my headliner with a black one, or removing it and re-upholstering it. if i re-upholster it, i'm thinking black and red checkerboard. I've never done a headliner......anyone have any insight on that? Edit: PEEKTURZ I like. yeah I realized i put a few upside down. Whoops. Last edited by mr_miles; 12-18-2011 at 04:37 PM. |

First off new piece looks great! And I've actually wanted to replace the headliner as well to black but I'm not sure how to do it either I was going to try and look for a professional to do it but I'm not sure where to take it

I wouldn't have any idea on where to take it to have someone else to do it...... I dislike it when shops work on my vehicles anyhow. Last resort sort of thing.'
my old bosses wife does upholstery, maybe I'll ask her if she wants to do it for me. or teach me. |

I did a suede interior on my tC.....our headliner would be much easier.
I think I am gonna do mine with black apholstery paint this time and Neffy on the pillars. If you want to learn how to do it I can show you....pretty much nothing on a car I haven't done over the years....lol |

i could definitely use more practice with vinyl, I've only done a few large pieces.
I'm pretty good with fiberglass, but unfortunately haven't gotten the chance to mess with real carbon fiber, yet. Will definitely post a DIY Dadams, this is turning out to be more of my build thread than anything else, lol. |

been sick since i got home from vacation so i haven't done too much to the gnar gnar, but i felt up to it so i pulled my front end apart and removed the tow bar attachment that was left. 26 pounds of un-needed steel! Allthough, after thinking about it, that bar is probably the reason i am driving the car today. It most likely saved the car when it got in the wreck. there's one piece on the passenger side that still needs to be removed, but the whole being sick thing made me not want to do it. i'll get under her soon and pull it. it's only like 2 pounds of steel lol.
Pulled a few more pieces to sticker bomb today, and got my hands on some wink mirror mounts! Expect pictures tomorrow of a mounted mirror and more pieces :D Also, for Garm if he's following this at all, I'm working on something to make covering the whole car easier! Any luck finding stickers? |

welp, I'm snowed in so I'm going to be doing stuff here and there to the Gnar-gnar. here's two pictures of what I've done so far. Wink mirror is mounted, will take pictures when i go downstairs to work on stuff.
Shift boot ring! still working on how to get my bandanna boot done, i keep ripping it :( might just do the hacked up rubber boot if Garm finds one. rear shock tower covers! :p |
