Mazda 2 version of the Yaris

Having already purchased a 2017 and a 2020 Yaris, these versions are actually a Mazda 2. Are there any plans to update this forum to reflect these changes?

I don't think anyone who's left here has the ability to change the board.

How do you like your new Yaris, mirapatec? How do they compare to the old Yaris?

It's a decent little 2015-gen Mazda2 rebadged-Yaris if you don't mind Mazda engineering, quality & reliability. I do like that Mazda still uses regular 6-speed automatic transmissions instead of crappy push-belt CVT's. I would have been temped by the 2020 hatchback if a decently-outfitted SE or XSE trim would have been offered. Still, I would have rather seen the all-new 2020 TNGA authentic Yaris hatch that debuted in most of the rest of the world be offered in the U.S./N.A. market instead. My 2020 TNGA Corolla SE sedan 6-MT was the runner-up 2nd-choice of not being able to get the all-new TNGA Yaris hatch in this market.

These forums are running on life-support & auto-pilot. As things are breaking, that are not being fixed. They have basically been abandoned by the owner(s) of this domain.

There are many versions of Yaris for sale around the world now, the TGNA version would be too expensive for US compact buyers, hooked on SUV's. I got both a 2018 and 2020 and don't give a rat's ass that one is a 4 sp auto and other is a Mazda.

Always interesting to see the different perspectives out there. Some have a problem with walking into a Toyota dealership and unknowingly buying a Mazda/BMW/etc., others feel as RedHatch does.

The only bad thing about the Mazda 2 Yaris is that it's automatic only.
