which is well worth it for me. considering toyota heads are very conservative and that would help me with the turbo kit that im fabing up.

Anyone else going to call Mike at NST this week and tell him there are about 20 people that are interested through a few forums and I'm not sure that is going to be enough to get the ball rolling but you never know

well, you can't really say that a cost of 700 for 10hp is actually the total cost. you still gotta reset timing and install the things. so, you have to include install in the price range.

also, is there going to be a tune coming with it? if there is, i'd be happy to spend 350 for a tuner program as long as it's plug and play. we've been over this before in another section. thing is, for me, i'd have to be able to hook it up to my puter and change stuff on a whim. but a 93 octane program would be awesome.

realistically, for the cost of install, and cams, this thing better be getting me at least 25 hp, preferably 35 or 40

Did you miss the part where they are going to be more mild cams? Judging from the other cams NST is selling $700 is a fair price. When you buy any other performance mod do you install it yourself, do you take it somewhere to do it, or des the place you bought it from install it with no extra costs? (I would think anyone buying these knows if they can install them or not) They are going to be mild cams so there wont need to have an additional piggy back and won't throw CEL's. I guess all in all this mod just won't be for some people.

I would be interested, and I am lol but I happen to know that cams on our vvt-i motors is something that a backyard mechanic shouldn't do. If that makes any sense. speaking of vvt-i I'm pretty sure that any aftermaket cam is gonna confuse it so you would need to tune accordingly. and if this has been addressed then ignore me.

Oh and you guys wanna see some diagrams I have access to that kinda stuff just FYI :)

Our ECU's are self learning/adjusting to a point. I would be willing to to install these without tune and drive around for a few days to see if they would through a CEL.
