Turbo Thoughts
my friend offered me a sr20 turbo from his Nissan SE-R and a second one for parts. The turbo has about 50k-60k miles on it and he is willing to sell them both to me for $200. The turbo also has a t2 flange on it, where most manifolds have a t3 flange. The turbo spools up at about 2-2.5k and is working perfectly. Is it worth it or just put out the money for a regular gt25 turbo?

for both of them thats not a bad deal, it already has the flange on it for the ebay manifold or atleast it should be. But make sure the one that works spins freely has no shaft play in/out side/side and if the seals are blown. Then if it all works out, buy them...

I guess in reality it is, but people like to charge out the ass for those SR20 turbos since they're "SOOOOOO JDM"
I have K03 turbos from my car I'd sell to other audi people for $150 for the pair and they are in good working order... |
