Ignore him. You can easily get upwards of 150hp with a supercharger, but you'd want to couple it with a good intake, header, and exhaust. A lightweight crank pulley would certainly help to. Bolt on options will work great and get you big gains before going internal.

Consider looking into a turbo though. Plenty of people have boosted on that, and it's been determined the engine can handle about 8psi safely without upgrading internals. Take a look in http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43 for more details about boosted options, experience, and feedback.

You'd spend more money adding crap to the engine than you would if you were to swap a different one in. If you want some fun in your Yaris, put a 2ZZ in it. Those are the 1.8 liter Celica engines, they have lift, and it would be a blast with a 6 speed in a Yaris.

@Tooter Thanks man I appreciate it, I might be new to the Yaris Forum but I'm the type to really do his homework so if I got a question I'm never shy to ask.

@Junorico24 Lol I wouldn't mind ridin low and lean with some dubs but I have an itch for acceleration and performance over fashion. But much respect to the fashion factor, gotta love both sides in the world of cars.

I have the blitz supercharger , full headerback exhaust ,intake and the piggy back AEM FIC ecu. I made 125whp and 130lb.ft torque.... Money wise , I don't think it's worth it, but the car is so fun to drive now:)

I may opted for a turbo kit if I have the time to do it all over again .
