First HDR With Photomatix PRO!

hi ya
after a few hours of confused about HDR between Photomatix basic vs Photomatix Pro.
I ended up found a photomatix Pro version and the HDR is way better because the pro included the Detail Enhancer.
to PK there is Photomatix Basic that you can download from HDRSOFT.COM for free, it's not the Pro Trial it's the basic, and the HDR pic came out really not good at all when you use the basic.
Anyway it's taken with Fujifilm S5200 5mp camera, you guys don't really need DSLR to make a beautiful HDR Image. Alot more to learns. Thank you guys PK and Architect.

looks like the light smoothing is on 1 notch too low, put it either right in the middle or if need be 1 notch above that.

post it asap please.

its called light smoothing, right up at the top, maybe the 3rd one down.

i always keep all of the pictures i used for each HDR in case i want to go back and retry or redo them.

the last 4 however i find a bit under/overdone but if thats what you were going for keep it up.

as for the settings try this:

Microcontrast 9
White Point and black point below 2 (but not by the same amount)

The temperature set it to about 3 or 4 , 7 is a bit too warm IMO
Shadow clipping don't use it unless you are willing to sacrifice detail in the shadows.
Play around with the Saturation Highs and Shadows I have mine set at 9
Light Smoothing try it at High it will get rid of a bit of the haloing

if you want you can send me your pics and i'll make you an HDR in my vision if you like so you can compare. PM me

Overall you are progressing ;o)
hi thanks for the comment and some more tips, i will send you my pics tomorrow at work. what is your email address?

That is absolutely amazing. You should think about putting that on a website somewhere.
