My old truck
Ok I know that usually everyone posts pics of their pretty Yaris babies,
but I’m posting my old truck. I parked it in front our store today and put the For Sale sign on her and sold it in under an hour. It books for around 1100 (in average condition) but I offer it for the lowest book price (fair condition) of 800 bucks. I wanted to sell it fast and I wanted someone else to get a good deal. It has been a GREAT truck - never had a single mechanical problem in the 10 years I’ve owned it. Anyway, I thought it deserved a good send off. Goodbye old truck. Hays |

Sounds like a great price for the buyer for such a car given your description of its good mechanical condition!
Now start to enjoy the much better fuel economy of your new ride! |

Damn.... spend a couple bucks on spraypaint for the hood and you might have gotten an extra $50 out of the buyer

I tend to drive my vehicles until they are worn out. I just got lucky that
this one lasted so long. And even though her hood and roof were oxidizing pretty bad there is no rust and the body is in great shape. I think eTiMaGo is right, if I had spent a little time with some rubbing compound and made her sparkle I’m sure I could have gotten more money. Oh well it was a win-win situation. Someone got a reliable cheap ride and I got more cash for mods! Still, I’ll miss that old truck. Hays |
