what, the new recall? i dont need it.
did you check the nhtsa recall site? most likely your driver airbag is made from daicel. your passenger side could very well be takata. |

The odds are 1 million to one you’ll be killed by shrapnel from a defective airbag. I think there are 40 million airbags that are required to be replaced. The company can only make a couple two or 3 million a year.
Do the math we arent getting air bags and the ones we have Are unlikely to kill us. However the situation has allowed criminals to pretend they have airbags and scam people out of money.

My 2007 had its passenger side air bag. Done years ago.
