AGX's!!

Does anyone knwo why we can't get AGX's for the YARIS, or can we, and I just don't know it? Are there any other similarly adjustable strut/shocks on the market that are as affordable? I love being able to dial my Miata for various autoX surfaces, and still get a nice ride on the way home.

Does the xA or xB use the same struts as the Yaris LB?

Beyond the question of the same struts, are the mounts the same?

Actually, the TRD Sportivo is made by WAY DO, and is dark blue. The "red" TRD struts are no longer made. Those may have been made by KYB, but not sure.

You can't get AGX's because KYB doesn't make any for our cars... it would be great if they did... as the HTS are worth almost a set of coilovers...

And the Scion xD shares the same suspension as the Yaris. Same shocks and springs.
But this won't be of much use.... as there are no AGX's for the xD either.

I wonder if the Tokico blues for the xD have the same valving as the Yaris ones... since the xD is a little heavier.

Does anyone know if the part numbers are different?

i bet there is a good chance a Fit rear shock may fit. that should be considerable stiffer.

Ehem...

I do remember when I was looking into buying C-one shock/strut combos, that they look similar to KYB AGX setups. I have seen the C-ones in person.

Adjustments are very similar, scary similar.

So it is possible that C-one simply contracted KYB to make them a set for the Yaris, then sold it under their name.

Can you tell me more about the C-ones, like where you found them? I can't seem to find anything on them. Thx!

I think I'm going to go for the Tokico HTS's. Half the price, all the adjustment. Now as soon as Garm has some pricing/availability on those.
