Toyota/Scion Cruise up Mt. St. Helens

I'm organizing a cruise up Mt. St. Helens on June 2. Any Toyota/Yaris owners are welcome to attend, too! Details here can be found here.

If you're interested in going, simply post here!

I'm very interested! It would be a 2-3 hour drive, but worth it. I talked with my g/f and she is interested too. Of course we will use some of the time to visit the park, as she has never been there. Just keep me updated on the meeting place and time.

Cool! We'll have at least one Yaris, then.

Make sure to keep an eye on the Scionlife.com thread as most of the info will be there, but I'll keep this one up to date, too.

and when you get there?

I'll be moving to Oregon sometime this Summer, so maybe I'll go on the next trip, but I was wondering if you're planning to climb St. Helens when you get there?
If anyone has done it, then you know, but for those who haven't....it's a bitch! I went with a group of about 15 college age kids and about 5 had to turn around before we made the summit. You have to start at dawn's crack and don't get back down 'till dusk. You can only spend 15-30 at the summit, but the view is something you'll never forget!!
Good luck and have fun!

We aren't climbing it. I'm too out of shape for that! I'm sure it's an amzing climb, though.

Thumbs up

Don't be a puss! It's not like you need climbing gear or be a he-man. Just a pair of boots and *lots* of will power!

i don't think we'll be able to make it this weekend. it's a bit too far for us for now, that and i have 0 (zero, none, nadda) mods or anything on my car. i'd probably be the only one sporting hubcaps.

Nah, you don't have to have mods to go -- and you wouldn't be the only one w/hubcaps. Please do feel free to attend -- we'd love to have you!
