Only Happy When it Rains

I am 6'2" and have never had visibility problems. My old Car(Saab Viggen) I had to lean forward to see lights if I was first in line, but not in my Yaris hb. Visibility is great.

Second, , to that guy who quoted me, please read all my post in the thread before you quote me. Third, if you read the above quote he was specifically talking about where the windshield met with the ceiling, because he said that he is used to having a fair amount of sky. The yaris is certainly not losing out to other sedans and most hatches, and there is NOT any major vision problem up front (though i do have some when backing up). But the overhead and overall front view vision it is not outstanding either, especially without the height adjuster, which causes for the very high seating position. Thus it is pretty much a regular old car view, though there are some that are worse. Last, i considered my old toyota to be easier to see in the front, because i could see the hood and i knew exactly where it ended. It had outstanding overhead vision and if i turned around to back up i could basically see 180. but then again i was driving around in a tiny little mostly glass box with no airbags and with a bed behind me. I still havent mastered the yaris, going to take it out to a parking lot with some cones and do some fast driving and reverse to perfect my distances with it. Anyway, read all my post before you start quoting and correcting me please? Nobody was saying vision was BAD. and lets leave dead posts dead. And sorry if im grouchy...stinking exams..if i mess up, going to cost me a year before i can get in my internship which will then postpone my wedding with my 25 year old japanese woman by yet another year, which i already extended a year to change majors, and she may well break up with me, tommorow is important!! |

Hey, I had the same problem. When I went to the dealer there was one on the lot, but it was sold. After my dad talked the manager's ear off for about an hour on the topic of his '94 prius, the manager finally let us test drive the LD around the parking lot!
