AC stop cooling at highway speed (> 100 kmph)
Hello Members,
I have toyota yaris 2012. Issue is with AC, it stops cooling at highway speeds or more than 100KMPH. Within city AC is working great. Here are few tests i have done so far: 1. AC system is charged properly (checked with 2 different shops) 2. On highway when it stops cooling, I turn off AC and shift to Neutral gear and turn on AC again and it starts cooling immediately but stops after 2-3 minutes. 3. Car has clutch less compressor so clutch gap is out of question. Recently changed evaporator core. I have been told that compressor is bad but want to make sure if it is really compressor or something else causing it. I would really appreciate your help and suggestions. |
