Gen 3 wiper switch 2015
Hey everyone! I have a 2015 yaris hatchback North American spec. The front wiper only works on high speed and it doesn't park when you shut it off. I sourced and replaced the wiperswitch as everything I have read so far says it's the relay in the switch but nothing has changed. Now the switch I replaced it with was used and could be faulty. The seller is shipping me another.
I was at the dealer picking up some wiper inserts and the service manager suggested it could be the wiper motor. Does that make any sense? I would think the motor would work or not. All of the control; would be in the relay. Everything I have read here about wiper switches has been from earlier models. Anyone have experience with later? I'd also be interested in replacing the faulty relay in the dead switch. Anyone here ever try it with a later yaris? thanks Panama J |

i know on "old" cars every time a set of wipers wouldnt park it was ALWAYS something to do with the motor not the controls
