High quality coilovers avaialble for Yaris?

Anyone know if some of the higher quality coilover manufactures are making agressive street/track coilover for Yaris. I'm thinking companies like KW (KW Variatn 3), JIC Cross, Bilstien PSS10, etc?

Nice multiadjustable - perhaps even with external cansiter.

Also curious what people are doing for spring rates? Rather than putting rear bar on Yaris I was thinking of cranking up rear spring rate. Anyone expereimeting with spring rates yet? Stock rates included with coilovers will almost always result in understeering car.

i've been on the coilover hunt myself lately (and having a real hard time deciding) and i found the official coilover thread to be a nice start...

not sure if this is a complete list of all options available for the yaris but, like i said, it's a nice place to start

I think the best you can easily get (not importing from japan) are the silk roads.

You can get them from Microimage.

FULLY adjustable.

And yeah, a couple of people ( Loren that I can remember now ) have experimented with rates. And you are right... all coilover are biased for understeer.

Loren used higher rear springs and the stiffest sway bar. He also disconected the front sway bar with some good results...

Gideon has the Silk Roads, and he's experiencing oversteer. Quite a nice set of coilovers I must say. On my future mods list.

^ He left out the weight reduction, tire pressure, and shock settings.

Also my poor ability to let off the throttle smoothly.

Oh yeah KW makes Variant 3 for Yaris. You know they use Koni inserts! Very easy to change rear spring rates too.

I use KWs on this car

I'd get an inverted monotube coilover for whatever car I plan to use them for. I think the Silk Road coil-overs are monotube (Garm can answer this one), just not sure if these are inverted as well. Damping is always better, car rides better.

Silk Road is as exotic JDM as they go :)

I believe the Megan coilovers are also a monotube design.

RE KW, aren't they a twin-tube design? They perform well on the track but SUPPOSEDLY don't last as long when subjected to road use with all the surface imperfections and potholes, especially on bigger, heavier cars. I'm basing this on what people on Supraforums have said about the KW's, not sure if it was the Variant III or the Club Sport model though
