My new Olympus E-520 DSLR

Hey everybody.... I've been practicing the "manual" mode on my new camera. These shots were all taken with my 14-42mm lense except for the close up on my dog, that was shot using my 70-300mm lenses. I'm having a great time learning a new hobby !!

Awesome. I used to have an Oly E-500. Great camera and the Zuiko lenses are amazing too. The higher end ZD lenses are actually a lot nicer than even some of the Canon L series lenses.

I wound up selling it after 27,000 articulations. I knew it was coming to the end of its life...

nice! Never used them before but I know Olympus makes some really good cameras for the price, good choice!

Something that I have been looking into for some time and I really want to bit the bullet...buy a great camera and either take some classes and/or learn on my own.

I should do the same, actually the lessons are very important though...

Very sharp. I've forgotten what a good lens can do for a picture. I've been using "point and shoots" for too long.
