Team Tiamat Racing's 2014 LSR Season Build (updated: 5-10-14)
For now this is just a placeholder. I will try my best to put things together to discuss all of my changes, plans, and upgrades with the high hopes of reaching 175mph in the standing mile and then whatever else I can get by the 1.5 mile.
Here is a teaser for now: And even though not performance related:

Yeah, I am super stoked. You have no idea. I am hoping to continue the heritage of what great things it has done by getting it into the Guinness Book of World Records. I have submitted my application for this summer.

As much as we can. Hoping for 450+ on c12 or c16. Street will be much less aggressive as it will be on 91/93. Not doing water meth either.

New Turbo:
Side by Side comparison of new EFR (Left) and old T28 (Right). Not really sure if the picture does enough justice on the difference, but it is a lot larger: Throttle Body upgrade: Tear down process for new new setup installation:

Recently both my UEGO O2 sensor and Autometer Oil Pressure Sending Unit (OPSU) died so I had to order new ones. Will be moving the OPSU to a T off the engine and removing the oil sandwish adapter that I have.
We have to fab a new downpipe due to the way the new turbo is designed. We suspected, but still a bummer. When we do it we will be getting rid of the second O2 bung for the rear factory sensor since it is not needed anymore.

When you do the OPSU, could you take pictures of where you are putting it and the hardware you are using.. I have been debating on weather or not I should get the Sandwich adapter or not, but wasn't sure where I could get another source of oil pressure.
Also, where are you getting a signal for your Water temp gauge? Are you using the signal from the OEM sensor to ECU? If so, what gauge are you using? If not, where did you install your Temp Sensor? Sorry, I am in the process of doing my gauges and trying to find the cleanest and easiest way to do it.. searching for all my options. thanks

Any of the FI guys using a 3-3.5" thick/deep FMIC by chance? I am curious about clearances. Right now my FMIC is 2.5" thick/deep. I am wondering if anyone can confirm whether or not you can actually go as deep as 3.5". If so it opens up a lot more options since going with a taller version won't buy you much with the crashbar being in the way.
