xd exhaust compatibility
first off, happy thanksgiving! second, does anyone know if scion xd exhaust would fit our yaris 3-door? i know the two are very similar and i thought somebody on the forum has done this with the tanabe medalion? i checked the model numbers on tanabe's site and they don't match, but i was just curious. thanks!

I want to see if a Yaris mid pipe will fit my xB.. 5" difference on the wheel base.. so I feel you on that question. Glad someone has done it already, and you now know. GL

Well some companies (Strup for example) have an exhaust in works for the Xd, but never will make one for the Yaris.

UPDATE - i learned how to use the search button better and found tiny's example of making the stock xd exhaust work. he said it was basically the same thing and no modifications were necessary. i've looked at pictures of both the xd and yaris from the side and it appears the xd is a little longer after the rear wheels so maybe the tip would be further out. i'm guessing that if the stock exhausts are identical maybe the aftermarket exhausts would be too(with the xd one having a slightly longer tip)? it might just be worth the extra $120 to get the 'yaris' one, but i'm always looking for a deal(i just don't want the tip sticking TOO far)!
