Fuel leaking from tank breather tube
Hi all,
I've encountered an issue where fuel is leaking from my fuel tank breather tube. Notably, the bottom tube from the charcoal canister has rusted through, although this has been the case for years, so it can't be the cause. Any suggestions on what might be causing fuel to come out of the breather tube would be much appreciated? It is a 2006 yaris with a 2SZ-Fe engine. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Matty |

I guess you may have been loading too much fuel into the tank. One click of the gun is enough.
But I had exactly the same problem, without overloading the tank. Except my car is rusty af everywhere so I just had it replaced (not expensive). Looks like some problem that can simply occur after many years of service. |
