Hybrid Badges

Hi All,

Not sure if its the same in the US but here in the UK Auris & Prius both and blue hybrid badges

I thought it would look really good to add the blue backing to the black badges on my Yaris, really happy with the results.

What do you think?

looks good with the black emblems :) Much more subtle than the illuminated badges that are getting popular nowadays

@CPALK719 - I've never found any black emblems to buy, but you can do it yourself. A bunch of us on here have. It is EASY! Here's a great step-by-step DIY.

That looks great! I'd do it, but I don't think the blue thing would work on a red car.

I can't have it back lighted like it calls out to be. No blue lights on the rear of a car in Nebraska. :( I could put it blue in the front, but not the rear.

http://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/...atute=60-6,230
(2) Except for stop lights and directional signals, which may be red, yellow, or amber, no person shall display any color of light other than red on the rear of any motor vehicle or any equipment of any kind on any highway within this state.

Stupid I know but there is a State Patrolman in my drive way every other Saturday who is still mad I married his only child.

It doesn't illuminate. I have one on my car and California police at the worst.

yea, its not "luminating". I would still do it if I were you. And even if they try to give you a citation, I'd say, "see you in court, father-in-law".

Then after you win, you have a good Thanksgiving diner story to tell. And you can watch him grind his teeth in your rear view mirror every time you drive away
