Trying to decide on the 5zigen wheels - what do you think?

I have a 5dr sedan silver and I'm trying to decide on these wheels:

Per (Black Yaris) I can get it in a 17x7 with a +38 offset, run that with some 205/40R17's would be sharp and fit nice

But I'm trying to decide on the Hyper Silver or Hyper Black finish - what do you guys think?

I think hyper black would look better with a silver car. Silver on silver doesn't provide any contrast. Evan

I was just wondering if you are dropped? you should be good with that offset aslong as you stay with the 205/40 and dont go with a wider or thicker sidewall on a dropped car...I was running the same offset on tanabe df's and 205/45/17's, and had major rub, switched to trd springs, still had minor rub...

just warnin ya...

it is going to be close.... but if you are willing to roll your fenders, and/or trim your plastic inner fenders a bit... you can pull it off.....

Here's what I'd do if I had your question: I'd check with some Japanese Vitz guys. There are many Toyota Vitz with 18's in Japan. So, why "reinvent the wheel" when you can probably get some real world advice about 18" rims, offset, tire size, and rubbing problems.

The Japanese take rim and tire application as serious as a heart attack, then perect it to a fine art!

Try a little internet searching to make some contacts.
