Improved door seal...

after some research I decided on this door sealent.

Perfect thickness.

The door know has a nice solid feel when closing.

Before gravity could close the door.

Also noticalbly quieter.

This stuff really sticks well.Disregard reviews as I have feeling people did not clean surface properly.

Anyway hope this helps anyone thinking of sealing doors better and cant decide on which seal/s to get

I had 4 feet leftover after 2 doors.

Interesting, thank you for sharing this. Yaris inside does tend to be noisy so any option to make her more silent is much appreciated.
I fact I am currently struggling with the rubber around the top edge of windows. It does seal well against water but the constant wiggling took its price and the noise getting around that rubber is quite considerable. Not sure if there is any aftermarket product that can provide better result than OEM rubber which is expensive AF.

Yeah, a couple of the little dinky plastic clips on mine broke at the top of the door of my new '07 project Yaris. My fault as I had a tarp jammed in both doors as I had the hood off. When I removed the tarp, it broke the clips. Didn't notice the gasket hanging down. The next day it rained. I had a soaked front seat. Doors open for two days to dry it out. I degreased the door frame, sprayed on a bit of adhesion promoter, then silicone caulked on the gasket. It's better than stock.
