OCS Bypass / SRS Light

I recently purchased a second-hand Occupant Classification Sensor Bypass Module (Rev. 2.0.0). After the installation of the module, the dash airbag light came on.

I tried the DTC code clearing procedure described in this post: https://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sh...d=1#post557473. When I turn the ignition on, the SRS light comes on solid the P/S and ABS light flash at about 5 flashes/second. Any ideas on how to clear the error codes?

Vehicle is 2006 RS 2-door hatchback, Canadian.

Are you certain you moved all driver seat sensors over? I got tripped up by one that has a magnet to it, which I had to stick to the seat bracket.

I only removed the passenger's seat - the driver's seat is stock.

Hmm...have you triple-checked that all connections are tight? You moved the seat belt pieces over, too, right?

I am using the bypass module shown in this document: https://www.metaltech4x4.com/content...n%20Rev2.0.pdf. I completed step 1, skipped the optional step 2, and am having trouble clearing the fault codes as described in step 3. Step 4 will not be necessary as my seats do not contain side airbags. All connectors are seated correctly.

Turns out you were correct. I didn't think that the seat belt connector had to be connected to keep the system happy. When I hooked that up, the fault cleared. Thanks for your help!

Yes, the seat belts are part of the overall SRS system. My pleasure, glad you got it sorted :)
