1NZ Supercharger Info please

can somebody give me detail on blitz supercharger...is it worth it? reliability?
hp gain?
right now i have pair of bolt on camshaft being manufactured at the plant but also thinking about getting supercharger instead...pair of bolt on camshaft will gain 18hp(theyre dyno sheet from stock 1nz)...😎
im thinking i should save a little bit more money and go for supercharger...
any opinion?

I want to SC, but I want to go with rotrex. I believe the boost on the blitz does not kick in until 3k rpm and if it's going to lag, you should just go with turbo. the rotrex boosts much lower, and has a planetary gearset making it work kind of like a automatic transmission instead of like a power drill. they also achieve a higher efficiently rating than a turbo, (the only SC that does) and run MUCH cooler temps.

they also have an electric assist that looks VERY promising!

well, that doesn't make much sense if you're having custom camshafts made and you are talking about modifying the way your engine functions. just the camshafts and the time to shim the buckets is over $1000. any SC is going to cost +$1300 you will need engine management, +$1000 (idk what it takes for E85, you might already have EM) I don't think you should "build on a budget," you should build what you want, IMO.

pair of custom cam for 1nz where i live is $700-1000...E85 chiptuning was only $300 including chip...thats pretty cheap..if im running better chip(seriously all similar software) with known brand its probably way more...im doing kind of a budget build..🤔🤔🤔

for the budget power, coupled with high octane e85, you could go nitrous. you could safely push 30-50hp, maybe 20 or 30 more if you dare. the setup would only cost like $700...

I've actually been trying to get rid of my old Blitz supercharger for a while now. Was gonna let it go for 1k. It's got a fixed pulley but it worked great on my car.
