Used Yaris, Some Problems

I just 'inherited' a 2009 Toyota Yaris Sedan from my parents. I took it out for a test run today and noticed a few things that I'd like to correct. First, the dome light does not come on with the doors, even though the bulb has not burned out (I switched it to "ON" to check) and the dome is set to DOOR. Also, there is no audible light, seatbelt, or door buzzer. How can I fix these issues? I'm not entirely concerned about the dome light, but I'm a pro at leaving my headlights on so I'd really like the audible warning back.

Thanks in advance,
Dino

The dome light in "door" mode is controlled by the body ECU and the key/light reminder is fed to the cluster by the body ECU as well.

I would start by checking the ECU-B fuse in the under hood fuse box, and then the ECU-IG, ACC, PANEL1, and MET fuses in the under the bottom of the dash fuse box.

It's likely to be the door switch of the drivers side ( located on the door jam(?) ) . We had ours replaced and is acting up again . The rear door on drivers side does the same thing . Everytime we bring it to a service center the dome light and alarms decide to work . Why this is an issue is beyond me . Never had it with other cars .

If it is the door switch, then the door icon will not illuminate on the cluster when you open the door. I am surprised to hear of one failing. They are a simple and robust switch. If you need a replacement I have a few on hand.
