car jumps forward when engaging 1st gear from start
After starting the 2008 Yaris I release the clutch pedal and the car jumps forward with too much power so I have to use the brake to keep it from jumping forward. Is this normal? How do I setup the car so that it does not jump forward? I don't notice this problems when I am stopped at an intersection and engage the 1st gear. Any Ideas?

Don't know the idle speed but at intersection when I'm idling it does not seem too fast. I also don't notice a jump forward. I seem to have to press the gas to move forward. Another thing is that the gas pedal is very soft. When I press on it the pedal easily goes down, what seems to be half way down or more I get a strong acceleration.
