Yaris Mk1 'Funcargo'

New member from Norway checking in.. Thought I could contribute a little while having a look around, since this model was never sold in North America here's a chance for you seeing something you maybe didn't know existed.

Throwing out a pic of the daily, from Oslo Norway (Far north Europe lol).. I know it's a little old, I'm sorry guys.. 2000 Toyota Yaris Verso, aka Toyota FunCargo in Japan. Basically designed as a Yaris (especially inside), bears the Yaris name in euro markets, has the same engines and drivetrain but the same suspension as Toyota bBs/Scion xBs.

It's a quirky little car, having covered 70k miles over the past four years myself I gotta say I'm pretty happy.. I have other cars for pure enjoyment but a Toyota as a daily spoils you! OG wheel bearings, bushings etc, having just changed a MAF and a cat over the past four years, together with oil changes and basic maintenance of course. Current mileage is about 131k miles and counting.. I've taken this car thousands of miles away and Russia and North Africa in separate trips are being planned..

It was supposed to be bone stock and stayed so for two years, but you know the drill.. Currently running 8Jx17 ET20 Rotiform BLQs, Tein Super Street coilovers I got off clubxB, Rav4 stubby antenna, Golf Mk3 euro 'duckbill' lip, Japanese Funcargo badge out back and the rest de-badged, Sparco P350 steering wheel..

Toying with the idea of new coilovers/air ride and new wheels (Work Meisters or Eurolines, or OZ Futuras).. The sh*t never stops lol.

Haha, I've actually been toying with the idea of building (another) Funcargo with a 1.5T from a salvaged Yaris Turbo, with bolt-ons and a tune..
