Questions: 2007 Hatchback 2-door

Hi everyone! I'm currently a college student and I recently purchased a really decent 2007 Black Yaris. I'm in love with it! I haven't owned her for long but I'm already noticing a few problems and I don't know where to go with all these questions. Seeing that just about everyone here owns a Yaris, I'm giving this a try.

On the roof, there seems to be a really thin thing that's missing on both the passenger and driver side. I'm not sure what it is. I tried searching online and I think it's a roof drip molding. (images attached as to what I'm talking about)

Also, it was pouring recently and the entire driver side floor was soaked. There's this one area near the windshield that got very wet (image is attached). Some of the seat got wet, it went towards the back floor but not by much. There was also a decent amount of water where the spare tire is. I've tried searching where it could be coming from but I'm not sure. A friend is going to help me to try to figure it out.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Especially if you've run into these problems yourself.

You're correct about them being called drip moldings. I replaced mine about a year ago.
