everyone considering needing two subs should hear this thing.. if you want everyone outside of the car to hear you sure go with more subs.. but the single 10" can easily be deafening if you set the levels right.
I bought 2 alpine type E 10" 300W RMS subs and a 600W RMS 2 channel alpine amp and I have to get rid of it because it's TOO loud. It leaves my ears hurting when I get out.

I plan on starting over with something very small and much more modest.

yeah one 10" its more than enough in the yaris.

instead of downsizing you could always turn down your gain on the amp and the bass on the HU

in the door?

my woofers setup is in the floor so its no different than having the spare tire cover on.. doesnt look like anything is different if i have the rear yaris carpet on it. didnt lose any space at all for storage.. other than the spare of course.

I like your yaris and what you have done with the trunk enclosure. I am planning to do the same with a 12'' rockford fostage punch 3. I am thinking about using these specs for the box portion. 12.5x12.5x12.5 I havent measured yet but do you think that from the traced peice for the replacement trunk cover has enough room from there going down to the frame to clear 12.5? Besides that, does your box hit the frame? or is it mid-air? Should I recalculate to make it so that it Rests? Also did you carpet even the under side of the enclosure?
