Custom box for a Yaris
We had a customer come in yesterday and had us build him a custom box for his Yaris. He was looking for mostly show and ditched his spare(hooray roadside assistance).
Here's what we ended up coming up with: I was really amazed with the room under the hatch floor in there. You would almost fit an 18" flush with the floor if you really wanted to :) Mods, let me know if this isn't appropriate. Not selling the box, just wanted to show it off :) |

That's cool, more or less what I have set up, but I was able to keep the spare... Sure, it's probably not the most efficient setup, but I jst wanted a little more oomph without wasting any cargo space.

Coustic 12" (or was it 10"? Not sure now). Nothing fancy, but I'm not into SPL or SQL, so it gets the job done

I have to admit, the Yaris is a pretty cool little vehicle. Lots of potential for stereo. :)
It reminds me of one of my favorite cars ever. The Festiva. |

Thank God some of the new subs need less than a cubic ft and are thin which opens up the possibilities for box sizes and shapes

We do actually offer a 3" deep 10" driver. I tried convincing him that was a good idea and he could probably keep the spare, but he wanted big :)

if someone made that but allowed the spare to stay in place i'd be down for buying it.

Are you sure they don't? You can't use it on the Basic dampers, only the Super ones...

unless he gets some kind of a shelf or platform to put over it... Or just never carries stuff at the back! There's a grille over mine as you can see, but it's getting all bent and scratched up
