now with a little on the car with header installed the exhaust hanger right by the cat is now squeaking big time have lubed it and then purchased a new one same problem to much motor movement in gear at a stop maybe someone could make a bolt on bracket to prevent this i would pay someone for this bolt on mod i may try to make one myself but really don't have the tools for that is there anyone here that has put on a header on a automatic yaris and had the extra exhaust movement causing major squealing at times ?

Are you sure the sound is coming from the hanger and not from within the joint itself? If the excess flange is not ground off right to the surface of the donut just like the stock manifold...

...there would be metal to metal contact between the header and the downpipe which could possibly be making the noise.

the collector side end piece of pipe is almost flush with the flange gasket when i lubed the hanger post it went away for a little bit so i am pretty sure that's ware the squeaking is coming from and i don't think the header totally bottoms out in the exhaust flange when tightened up but that noise would be a good match metal on metal

Also try listing it in the for sale by owner section. If I recall, someone here was looking for one just a little while ago.

I was thinking of selling my W*R, but this review is making me think twice.
I'm still wondering if I should wait for an exhaust swap before putting it on the car, though...

I'll be running a dyno test with the Weapon R header, an axle back exhaust, and a Weapon R intake soon, and will post the results. Maybe that will help you to decide.

I'm more of a hypermiler style driver as opposed to an agressive top end power driver, so the header fits my low end needs. In 900 miles the accelerator has been to the floor 3 times just to see what it's like.

Looking forward to the results!

I'm not opposed to saving gas for most of my driving, but I do like to have the option to step on it if I ever need to.

(Or at least that's what I tell myself...)

When I drive it's backwards of that.

If you read post #7, the OP said it's 3/8" too long, so he had to trim it down.
