Here are the results of today

Engine is divided from the frame and the gearbox is gone too

We put frame in again, to make it possible to put wheels on the car again

All the junk is now stored in it

and made a try in painting the engine

Tomorrow we are going to paint the whole engine and make all the other parts clean and on Thursday we start with the Yaris.

so what is the advantage of this engine over your old one? Just an upgrade from 1.0 to 1.3?

It´s an upgrade from 68 to 102HP and maybe more later.

I´m back after ages with huge Updates!!!

At first...this is how she looks now.

So many things have changed in the last years.
I finally installed a 2SZ 1,3litre engine, she got a new fender, more and more facelift interior parts are coming.
Back seats are out and i have black Sparco Sprint seats, black Sandtler seatbelts, a QSP deep dish (90mm) steering wheel, a Raspberry Pi as a car PC. Depo Gauges for water and oiltemperature and oil pressure.
The whole Energy Suspension bushing set is in the car and she now sits on ATS DTC wheels in Toyota Inferno Orange with Federal 595 RS-R tyres. There is no power steering and air condition anymore.
The genuine RS frontlip is combined with an M-Style front lip of a BMW E36, but looks a bit tortured after a crash on a racetrack. Blue Carbonfiber wrap an the bonnet and trunk.

Things that are already there and waiting to be installed...

Brakes from Nissan S14

and a whole lot of exhaust parts

I couldn't quite put my finger on an apt description. You hit the nail on the head.

OP, out of curiosity, What the F**K happened?
After looking at the pictures from your first post and a couple shots on the "RING", it looked nearly flawless. Now its like it went through hell, got lost and finally made it back.. Did you get hooked on the track and one too many "pushing it to it's limits" corners?
