Quality wheel gets a plus on the MB. Looks good too IMO.

I think you should edit your profile where you state your future plans as getting a set of 17's.

I am certainly considering the 16's. The way I see it, if I'm going to spend good money on replacing my stock's, then why go the same size which look small?

Plus, those of you so against 17's, take another look at Kaotic's car (mine is a Flint Mica S sedan too) and tell me you don't think this looks good or isn't necessary.

16's work very well on the Yaris. With 16x7, ET38, run 195/50/16.

re: wheel size - It's all a matter of taste. I'm running 18's and have no complaints whatsoever. It's nice to get feedback from others, but at the end of the day it's YOUR money and YOUR car and YOUR style. Go with whatever pleases you and don't listen to the naysayers.

Best option IMO, 16 FTW on the Yaris.... you get a larger size to fill the wheel wells nicely with plenty of options for rubber... I would go 205/50R16's

I like 205/50's as well, but with ET38, 195/50's work best.

Well, I really think I'll go with 16's. The benefits are cheaper tires, more rubber for rim protection, smoother ride, ect.

I didn't want to spend the money for lowering the car either and it does seem like it is needed if you go with 17 inchers. So those of you with 16's, they look good on stock suspension? And good pics?

Discount Tire Direct shows tire options for the 16's I posted (to fit Yaris) as:

195/55/16
205/50/16 (much more options)

OEM tyre size is 195/50/16. This works very well. You can go with 195/55/16 if you like. 205/50/16 is a common replacement size tyre, but I don't recommend it on ET38, even on stock suspension, and especially if you're lowered or plan to lower.

I'm no expert on offsets. Could you explain a offset of 38? What is the offset on the stock 15" steels? And why do you not recommend the 205/50/16's for this offset? Sorry if these questions seem dumb. Wait, the stocks would have 0 offset, right?
So +38 extends the wheel out 38mm right?

With ET38, your wheel/tyre set-up is moved outward. If you run 205's, you will probably poke out (up front) just a tad. How much you poke will depend on a few factors, including tyre brand (not all 205mm tyres are created equally). If you aren't lowered and don't plan to lower, and you don't mind the poked-out look up front, then run 205's. If you want to keep the set-up flush or just slightly tucked up front, then run 195's. If you're lowered or plan to lower, then definitely don't run 205mm rubber because you'll more than likely have rubbing issues up front.
