Unfortunately there was no voltage there. Is there any other way to install a CC in my yaris? Thank you for your time.

Your options would be to either switch the ECM to a US spec one or use an aftermarket cruise control system.

Just making sure I understand correctly - I have a 2011 Hatchback with M/T

Looking at this stalk on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V5ZXW4A/...I27G87P2Z63AYI

it looks like it comes with wiring so I wasn't clear on if I needed the Cruise Control Stalk wire or not ?

Thanks !

CTScott,

I sent you a couple PM's but the forum isn't showing that I've sent them. Let me know if you've received them.

They were regarding parts availability for cc install on my 2007 S Sedan AT no power.

Hi there,

im doing an DIY Cruise Control installation on my Yaris 2007 Sedan (w/o power) automatic.

Im in the step that a i've to wire ECM A21 Connector 41 pin to the D3 Connector. The problem is i can't find my D3 connector.

Here's a photo of my control panel :

and a closer one :

i think it the no.1 but i'm not quite sure, cause in the tutorial, it's says that i've to look at a black wire, but i dont see any black wire alone.

I've install the cruise control stalk, i went on the road to try the cruise control but it didnt work. My horn's working so i guess the steering wheel connector is okay.

On number 2. in the picture, there's a white coming out from a bunch of wire directly connected (solder) to a yellow wire, i dont know if this is why it doesn't work. And on the no1 connected, i've circle a spot , there's a pin there but i dont know if it's that white wire that has been caught by the previous owner...

and that yellow wire is connected to a black box (no.3 on the picture) , and i dont know what this black box for. Here's what you can see on the top of that black box.

and here's where those wires goes. I dont know where they end up.

Can you help me out on this ?

Thanks a lot !

Hi all..

My cruse control stopped working last night on the way home, and so I removed the switch, and took it apart, and low and behold, the ON/OFF pushbutton wires, one broke off its solder point.

Stripped the wire a bit, and re soldered, and bingo! back in business..

regards

Interesting. I haven't heard of that happening yet, but there is always a first. Thanks for sharing, as I am sure you will not be the last.

Any idea how difficult or whether this would be possible on the 2015 model? I did it once before on the 2007 model but I have no idea how much different the 2015 model might be. Would the connectors even be the same?

Great, thank you. Did you use the same instructions as the 2012 model?

The 2015 is the same as far as the stalk goes and does not require any additional wiring, like your 2007 did. If it is a MT, you will need a clutch switch as well.

Hello guys quick question, I have looked through the diagrams and I cant seem to find the cable that attached to the Cruise Control Clutch Switch (Required for all Manual Transmission Yaris): 88280-14030. Can anybody help me out with the part number of that cable?

thank you

No need - The cable is part of the harness, so it is already present on your car. Look up above the clutch arm and you will see the white connector taped to the harness above it.

i have a Toyota corolla altis 2015 1.6*

Market*General###Year 06/2014###Make TOYOTA###Model*ALTIS / COROLLA###Frame*ZRE171###

Model code
ZRE171L-GEPNKV

ECU part *number : 89661-0ZE60

I tried to add cruise control switch to non pre-wired Toyota corolla 2015 . But i did a mistake in wiring install , i*got an error on the instrument panel on the screen " error cruise control " with a warning sound !. So i disconnected it , then when i tried again i got nothing even that error doesn't appears again and its not working. So i decided to check switch , wiring , ECU according to the diagram provided from Toyota repair manual repair manual .*
The switch is working good due to multi-meter readings .*
I found later the problem is in the ECU , the pin number 40 in ECU has no volt or ampere . Even the continuity check is 0 , other pins working good reading 11 volt*, So*There is an problem in the ECU*

briefly:*

i tried to check the pin number 40 in ECU and it gives 0 VOLT and 0 AMPERE* and the continuity test is failed that's means the circuit in ECU is disconnected . Can any one help , any advice ?
