How much longer do I have? |

Mine lasted about 15k on my third set of tires at 53k but I drive a bit more aggressively than the average driver

Long time ago, I think around 40-42k, but very thin after 38k.

A lot will depend on your driving. I use my Yaris for my commute of 35miles one way, about 70% on mostly uncongested freeways. My first set of tires lasted 60k miles without rotating at all. I probably could have gotten another 5k if I had rotated my tires a few times...

has to replace the front 2 at 20k and then when the rears were roates to the front they got replaced at 25k. then i got new rims and tires at 45k so yea, not getting longevity out of them.
i tend to take corners with out braking so it tends to ware the tires down a bit, plus my old neighbor hood when i was in service had a 180 degree turn to get into it that i tended to whip around and when i started to slide on the dry pavement i would know it was time for tires, lol

Mine werent the goodyear tires I don't think. They were the other ones they offered in the 07 model year. I got 38k on mine before having to change out because they were just horrid and really got bad at hydroplaning at highway speeds. They were junk.

Bridgestone Turanza EL400 tires on mine.
Never heard of them but I'm going to trade them into Discount Tire for a little bit off a new set. I don't like Bridgestone anyways to be super honest. The car could definitely ride better too. I'm only on 256 miles on these.

two of my OEM ones are at probably 60% due to putting them on the white yaris while its new owner learned how to drive manual.....lol. the other two barely look like they've been used. all together I think those 4 tires have 12k on them.

I went to Discount Tire today and they told me I need to replace them now. And, I have 45,000 miles on my factory tires. They wouldn't even rotate because the tires had cracks on the side of them. I can get Michelin Defender tires with a 90,000 miles warranty for $573.50 out the door. That is what I am going to buy. The ones on the car now are Good Year Eagle LS tires and they only have a 40,000 miles warranty and they cost a total of $50 more dollars out the door. That doesn't make no sense so I will get the Michelin Defender tires because they will last twice as long and they are cheaper then the ones on there. That makes more sense right!!!

47,000 miles.
3 of the 4 were fine but the front right tire kept deflating to from 32 to 18 every single time I went to get gas. After this happening 4 times, I decided to just replace them all. They lasted 6 years so it's better to replace now than to deal with a flat, stranded on the side of the road, and have to pay a tow truck. The cost savings of continuing to drive on 50k+ tires doesn't offset the cost of the tow truck -- am I right? |
