Haven't they dumped that "ad" campaign yet? Is it supposed to be a takeoff on the Volkwagen Das Car ads?

The guy in it is all about the crazy/artsy/bonkers surrealist comedy, and I'm not sure when it started. I was just surprised that there's actually an ad campaign going for the new egg.
