I don't like how they are flat and the piston is always dragging on the bottom of the cylinder. seems like it would cause more wear. Luckily for me, the only crazy thing in the maintenance book for the FR-S is the 60k spark plugs. Don't see anything about a head rebuild, although I knew it wasn't the most reliable engine type. haha.

The 86 doesn't sound like a "Subaru" since Subaru utilized an EL header. I actually want to replace it with an UEL header to get that boxer burble.

In my area, it seems like EVO owners are what you described. lol.
