brake pad rotor replacement

Good day, I am planning to change the brake pads and rotors myself. To make the job easy, I would like to know how to turn the steering wheel to one side with only one wheel jacked up. I have 1 scissor jack and 4 jack stands. Thanks.

if you have 4 jack stands then jack up the front half of the car...turning the wheel while only up on a scisor jack is not advised, nor is it if you have a single jack stand under the car

you can jack up the entire front half of the car off of the transmission front center of the car

Thank you for your suggestion. I cannot find the jack point to lift the front half. I can borrow a floor jack from a friend.
