That makes two of us!

If you're going to spend that kind of money, just put a regular intake on your car instead...

They have been discussed on here a few times before. A simple fan blade will not compress the air and therefore, if anything, will simply restrict the airflow.

The only punch it will pack is in your wallet.

That nonsense is not founded on sound physical principles.

You might get a small boost in low-rev torque (maybe 10 Nm at most) and off-throttle response. But that device could choke the engine by around 5'000 rpm and above. The 1NZ is better at making broad torque than peak power, if that is what you are trying to achieve. And then you need to put up with the fan's noise... If there are any fans that anybody is going to install in the engine bay, it should be for an external oil cooler.

These are a joke. I've yet to see any data backing up their foolish claims. If it seems too good to be true, it is. I'd also be worried about that stupid blade assembly coming apart and getting sucked in. Yikes.

not sure TK is in it anymore as I can't find a place that is actively selling them without a price quote first. here is an old article about him.

http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/04...ger/index.html

though it is in that article, here is a dyno sheet of what his does.

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...6F0442&first=1

I will say that his kits are not $200, nothing that makes that kind of power is cheap.

My advice? Buy a short ram intake instead (or a CAI if you're a bit more adventurous) and see some actual gains instead.

Those are such a joke. about the only thing you could do with it is use it as a desk fan.
