Need to find a Idler Pulley Replacement! - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hey everyone! new to the forum but long time lurker

I am looking for a Idler Replacement for my 2007 1.5 litre. I have looked all over the net and can not find a replacement.

The bearings have gone bad and it is wobbling all over.

Any advice would be very appreciated!

The Yaris does not have an idler pulley - All pulleys are active:

Crank pulley
Water Pump
Alternator
A/C Compressor

I think you might be talking about the pulley on the water pump... is it the one in the middle of the other pulleys, under the alternator?

If so... I've found that they aren't cheap. I haven't found one (on the Internet) for less than $37.00. Guy at Advanced Auto the other day told me it would cost about $57....ick!
