The xD is the replacment for the xA, more or less.
xB is referred to now as first gen (1.5L) and second gen (2.4L)

you throw cells with the TC tb? I heard if you put it on and just let your car idle, the ecu automatically adjusts to it?

thanks but no thanks :)
I rather talk to the yaris owners who've put the tc/xd tb on their yaris instead of going to a scion forum and asking them if they just so happen to know stuff about putting their tb on a yaris. |

any way to prove what? that i had it on the car?
lol, the honest truth of why i took it off was because it does cold-idle at higher rpms, and i didnt want my wife to know i modded the car.....i ran it for a bit w/o cel's, but took it off so my wife wouldnt find out....

How long did it take you to install that? maybe like hour tops? I'm getting ready to do this project for a custom made intake system and I was wondering what kinda work is necessary for something like this.

Okay theres 2 minor problems with this mod:
1) High Idle at cold start. Forgot where it idles at since I usually just start up the car and go. I'll update soon when I remember to look down at my scangage. It usually goes away after about 10-15 secs of warming up but I guess if you live somewhere really cold it would take longer? 2) The car is kind of herky jerky when it goes in and out of DFCO. So in traffic or city driving with lots of stop signs, it just kind of gets annoying because sometimes if you're not careful, it feels like you ran into a brick wall, hahajp. |
