Hub Removal for Wheel Bearing or ABS Sensor - The Easy Way

Take a bolt and nut. Push the bolt through a hole in the hub and thread a nut on the other side. Jack the hub off the backing plate and axle/knuckle.

This is the process I used to remove the bearings when I had to replace my rear beam. It works.

This is also for doing rear ABS/wheel speed/skid sensors which are lightly pressed on the back of the hub bearing, and they require the hub to be completely removed first.
