How to remove the Nut on the top of the shock tower

here's a pic - how do I remove this nut. can't put both a box+allen key and the 17mm wrench simply doesn't fit

how to do this

use a offset ranch or use a impact ranch

that looks like the rigth idea... appearantly the normal box wrench doesn't grip enough on the nut... a little pull and already slipping off

i got mine out with 17mm offset wrench..and allen key
don't strip the nut.. it will be pain in the ass..

an offset wrench works.
Ive also had success in the past with a socket (similar to a sparkplug socket) that has the hex at the top and use a wrench on the socket and the allen through the top of the socket.

thanks, finally I put a normal socket and gripped it veeery solid with the wisegrip then turn it - that worked

well take a extra 15min remove the black piece and the wiper motor, that's how i put my impact ranch in.
