My Latest Mod

feels great!

for some reason i could not get the bottom bar to fit

i tried the hole it was in now, and it was blocked by the spare tire hump

then i moved it back to the next set of holes and it was still blocked by this hump on the floor

so i just left it out

all and all, feels a lot stiffer in the turns

Nice. How hard would it be to modify the interior pieces to fit back?

now that bar, i can see doing something... how much does it weigh? you can probably check your shipping label for a rough estimate.

Yeah you gotta remove that spare tire hump. I just drilled out the spot welds and used a flat screwdriver and a hammer to knock it out . Its pretty easy to notch the panels and put them in with the x-brace , I added a megan c-piller bar to the top and I was still able to get the pastic panels back on after some trimming . Looks good man , install the lower bar and you'll really feel a differnce .

the X brace forces the suspension to do a bit more of the work, so it really does have a pronounced effect, a good one.

It weighs 10 lbs, 2 oz. WITH the bottom piece that he didn't use.
