09 factory service manual

There seems to be a lot of subtle gotcha differences between the 07 and 09's. For instance the tach waire is a different color, the way the cruise control is pre-wired is different.

I'm not one to go by random posts on here although helpful I like to have all the info infront of me with a toyota logo stamped on it before I tak about my new car.

Is there anyone offering 09 service manual CD's? I don't want to spend the $300 which is rediculous, I paid $90 for my Ford Ranger service manual in 1994.

Yeah...lot's of subtle but important differences. I would be down for a manual (reasonably priced)

I'm working on getting one from a Toyota Technician not sure it it's a print out or digital copy.

I might not be able to get my hands on the entire thing unless I'm willing to buy it and even then I'm not sure if I would like to scan all the pages for the entire manual.

Let me know what sections are the most important for you guys and if anything I should be able to get a few chapters printed out.

I hear ya on that one but the dealer ship just sent me over factory installation instructions for the VIP RS3200 TVIP V3 Part Number: 08586-53870 and VIP RS3200 TVIP V5 Part Number: 08586-53860. They pulled these installation guides from the Toyota Information System.

Here is his quote "There is an additional wiring kit that goes with the 09 Yaris that the 07 and 08 didn’t need. I know it seems simple, but it looks as if Toyota made a change in the wiring harness for 09."

Anyone have any ideas on what the part number for this harness might be? Maybe it's included in the VIP kit.

I'm going to installing this system myself seeing as they wont do it because I have a 5 speed. I just want to make sure I have all the parts needed before I start to tear into my 2 week old ride.

I'll try to get back to you guys and let you know if all the harnesses are included in the VIP RS3200 TVIP V3 08586-53870 package.
